Although we’re staying home and don’t know when it’ll be safe for everything to open back up, I was thinking about some of the items on my Spring/Summer fashion wishlist. If you’re wondering why my answer is simple. The first reason is that there are several sales going on right now, reason two: now’s the perfect time to clean out the closet and work on refining my personal style, and my final reason is when everything finally opens back up, I don’t want to feel like I have nothing to wear, I want to be inspired and excited by my closet.
When I came up with the idea for this post, I was a little on the fence about doing it because it was one of the posts that I would write as a place filler and not because I actually wanted to and I wanted to avoid that this time around with the blog. However, I thought of a way to change up the format a bit from wishlists I’ve done before and I had fun with it. If you’ve read my personal style post, you know that I recommend going shopping with a list so you don’t get sidetracked too much. It’s okay to pick up something that you see from based on your style inspirations, but try to stick to your shopping list.

My Shopping List:
A Black Handbag: If you’ve been reading this blog since I launched or following me on Instagram, you may have noticed how much I like a good handbag. It’s always been a challenge to find ones that fit your style and your needs. A black handbag is a must-have for me because it goes with everything and the right style of handbag can make it my new go-to for everyday use.
A Jumpsuit: When jumpsuits became popular a few years ago, I was on the fence about trying them because I just didn’t want to think about how complicated it might be for me to put on or be comfortable in throughout the day and I didn’t love the styles that I was seeing. However, these days the trend is growing on me so I figure since I have more time these days, it’s the perfect time to shop around and look for a style I’ll be more than happy to wear when we venture outside for something other than essentials again.
2 Additional Tops: I’m always on the lookout for new tops. The styles are always changing so it’s interesting to look at the different styles and see if it’s something that I could fit into my own style. I have no set colors or styles that I’m looking for yet, just avoiding a square neckline because I have enough of that in my closet already.
A Matching Separates Set: A matching separates set seems to be the next step from the jumpsuit. I wasn’t a huge fan of the monochromatic look of jumpsuits and matching separates, but you can easily break it up with accessories and the fact that you get three built-in outfits. I can’t wait to play around with that a bit.
Now that you know what’s on my shopping list, lets get to the fun part shall we?

Spring Summer Fashion Wishlist
Polished & Poised White Bag: When I first saw this bag on the Red Dress website, I fell in love with it. I’ve always liked the chevron detail when it comes to handbags and the gold chain detail gives this bag an elegant feel to it. This bag comes in 7 colors, though for some weird reason you need to select a color other than white to see the red option appear. This bag would be fun to use with my white jeans and just makes me think spring or summer.
Short Camisole Top: Where has this top been? I love this idea because I’ve recently discovered how much I hate I plain old camis, I want things with a little detail to show off my style. I’m looking forward to layering this over some other camis for some fun with mixing the colors.
Green Tie Side Blouse: I like the wrap over detail of this shirt and I want to take a chance with some green shades this spring. Although if it wasn’t for the wrap around detail, I’m not sure if I would get this shirt since the side tie isn’t exactly visible while I’m sitting in my wheelchair. This is a pretty shade of green though, so I’m hoping it inspires some cute outfits.
Asos Design Broderie Kimono Sleeve Top with belt detail: I’m not so sure about this color, but I really like the sleeves and belted detail. However, I’m not sure I want to add to both this and the other green top to my wardrobe so we’ll see which one I end up buying.
Double Breasted Boxy Miltary Blazer: When I saw this I fell in love with it, but I’m torn between getting it in black or white. I’m choosing black now because I feel like it gives me more outfit options.
Well, that’s it for my Spring Summer Fashion Wishlist for 2020 for now anyway. It took me hours of browsing to pick out these 5 items because I had my list and a general idea of the outfits I wanted to get. Although I really only added 2 of the items on my shopping list to my actual wishlist, I’m okay with that. I deviated from my plan a bit, butI’m excited about the outfits, I might be able to create with these pieces. Since I’m staying home right now I’m going to keep looking, trying on outfits, and having fun refining my style.
