What makeup products have you had your eye on recently? A few weeks ago when I was shopping online, I realized that I hadn’t tried out any new products lately and if I was going to be practicing some new (to me) makeup techniques, I’d need to get some new makeup products. I’ve been in the mood to write fun posts given everything that’s going on so today I’m sharing my Summer Makeup Wish List.
I had fun writing my Spring/Summer 2020 Fashion Wishlist and sharing it with you so I wanted to write one for makeup products. As I said in my other wish list post, I was a little on the fence about doing it because it was one of the posts that I would write as a place filler and not because I actually wanted to write a wish list and I wanted to avoid that this time around with the blog. For this reason, I’m not sure I’ll be doing another Wishlist post after this, but we’ll see. Nonetheless, let’s get back on topic, shall we?

Summer Makeup Wishlist:
Drugstore Makeup:
Covergirl Clean Fresh Skin Milk Foundation: I’ve wanted to get this foundation ever since it launched. I ‘ve read some reviews on it so I want to give it a try. This product is supposed to be good for your skin and give your skin a healthy glow.
Ulta Beauty Collection X Marvel’s Black Widow Face Trio: Are you a fan of Marvel or DC? Though I really like DC, I prefer Marvel so when I saw the mini trio that included blush, I added it to my makeup wishlist for the summer. This little compact will be so good to use while I’m practicing applying blush.

BH Cashmere Comfort Lipsticks: I love this lipstick so much. The applicator makes the product easy to apply and it gives your lips this dewy look because they aren’t completely matte. I added the shade Extra that I lost, as well as the shades Slay and Savage, two red shades from the collection.

High-End Makeup:
Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Hydrating Longwear Foundation: This foundation has been on my makeup wishlist ever since it launched. The Longwear foundation is supposed to have more of a dewy finish compared to the original matte foundation by the brand. I’m interested to see how the new looks and feels on my skin and see if the product is easy to get out of the bottle since it’s slightly different than the Pro Filt’r Longwear Soft Matte Foundation.
Fenty Beauty Cheeks Out Freestyle Cream Blush: I am so excited to try this product, but it probably won’t be the one I practice with when learning how to apply it. The colors in this collection are so pretty and like several products in the Fenty Beauty Makeup Line, it’s so versatile. In a makeup tutorial video for the products, Rihanna applies the blush with a brush, then her fingers, and even uses it on her lips. I want to buy this product and add blush as a regular part of my makeup routine, but I know I’ll be trying it on my lips to see how it does.

Fenty Beauty Stunna Lip Paint Longwear Fluid Lip Color: Another Fenty Beauty Product? I know I know, but her products are popular for a reason. I’ve been on the fence about trying this product since it launched so I finally decided to add it to my makeup wishlist. The applicator seems small from photos so I’m hoping that it will make the product easy to apply just like the BH Cosmetics Cashmere Cream Comfort Lipsticks.
Charlotte Tilbury Mini Pillow Talk Lipstick & Liner Set: When I tried a few products from the Pillow Talk Collection back in March, before everything shut down, I liked the results. I tried a few products including blush and lip gloss. When I saw the Lipstick & Lip Liner set while picking out products the other day I added it to the list because of the color and the lip liner, a product that is in my opinion necessary when learning to apply lip products.
That’s it for my summer makeup wishlist, though I’m sure that by the time I actually buy some of these products I’ll have added more items to my list. I can’t wait to try the Fenty Beauty Blush and Stunna Lip Paint, especially to share my experience with you. Have you tried any of the products on my summer makeup wishlist? What did you think of them? Let me know in the comments below.
