If you are not a blogger or vlogger, you probably have no idea what the Christmas Tag is, if you care that is. A tag is usually a fun post that gives you the opportunity to learn more about the person creating the content. The Christmas tag is a list of questions about Christmas, I came across this tag a few years ago when I first started blogging. I knew that when the holday season came around this year, especially with everything going on, I was going to my own version of the Christmas Tag.
So let’s get to those questions shall we?

The Christmas Tag
How Do You Celebrate Christmas?
My family and I celebrate Christmas by gathering at my aunt’s house. It’s always fun since everyone is there and we start the day off by having breakfast together. After that, the fun begins with the rest of the festivities.
How Are You Spending This Christmas?
As I said in answer to the previous question, we usually gather at my aunt’s house, but with the current health crisis and limits on gatherings, I’m not sure what we are doing this year. We may just have a zoom call and open presents
Have You Started Your Christmas Shopping Yet? If now, When Do You Start
I haven’t started my Christmas shopping yet, but I am putting together a list of who I need to buy for and possible gift ideas to make the process easier. I normally start my Christmas shopping around this time
What Is Your Favorite Christmas Movie?
Oooh, this is a hard one because it changes every year thanks to the surplus of movies from Hallmark, Lifetime, Netflix, and other channels. As I’m writing this, I’d have to say my favorite Christmas movie is Operation Christmas On Netflix

Have You Ever Built A Gingerbread House?
No, I haven’t, but I know it would be fun to do someday.
What Is Your Favorite Aspect Of The Christmas Season?
My favorite aspect of the season would have to be the Christmas lights and snow on the ground, even if it’s not snowing Christmas morning. Christmas movies are a close second for me.
Red Or Green? What Color Occupies Your Life During This Time Of Year?
Red, I try to mix the colors up for the season, but I tend to gravitate towards red. As for my nails, I paint them red, green, and white.
Have You Ever Had A White Christmas?
Yes I live in a place where I get to experience all four seasons. Fresh snow on the ground is one of the most beautiful things that mother nature gives us.

What Is Your Favorite Christmas Song?
My favorite Christmas song is Rocking Around The Christmas Tree, but Christmas in New York by Lea Michele. The song paints a pretty picture of the Christmas season.
Did You Ever Write A Letter To Santa As A Kid?
No, I didn’t, I believed in Santa for a time, but never wrote to him.
Do You Open Presents On Christmas Eve?
No, I think that takes away some of the fun of opening presents with family. On Christmas Eve, we wrap presents and watch movies.
Is Your Christmas Tree Real Or Fake?
My Christmas tree has always been fake, I think it’s easier and less messy.
Can You Name All Of Santa’s Reindeer?
Yes, and I’m happy about it. Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, and Blitzen, and of course Rudolph

Are You A Pro Present Wrapper Or Do You Fail Miserably?
I fail miserably at wrapping presents, but I working on it, simply because the wrapping paper is so nice, I want to be able to use it.
What Made You Realize The Truth About Santa?
I don’t really remember, I think I realized it didn’t make sense for a man to be flying around the world in a sleigh and breaking into people’s houses to leave gifts.
Have You Ever Seen The Tree In Rockefeller Center?
Yes, I’d love to go again someday, but I don’t think it will be this year.
Do You Own An Ugly Christmas Sweater?
Yes, I had to get one last year for a Christmas party.
Do You Prefer Snow Or Sunshine For Christmas?
Snow, but not a blizzard so it doesn’t ruin my plans, so maybe a little of both. I’m good if it’s cold outside, there’s a dusting of snow and the sun is shining.

Have You Ever Had Your Picture Taken With A Mall Santa?
Not a mall Santa, but I went to an event as a kid and there was a Santa for the event so I got a picture with him.
Do You Send Holiday Cards?
No, I don’t, but they are always so pretty, I want to send them out someday.
I can’t believe it’s December, 2020 has sure been one of the books with all the health crisis and everything else that has happened this year. Nevertheless, we made it to December, the holiday season and the happiest time of year. Given everything that’s going on, this holiday season’s going to be unlike any other, but that doesn’t mean we can’t find some cheer and happiness with the season. For me, that means Christmas movies & Christmas music, even though I’ve been listening to it for weeks already.
I hope you enjoyed my version of the Christmas Tag and that you are enjoying the holiday season.
Happy Holidays!
~Kimberly
